Here at Bizzy Bodz Gisborne, we pride ourselves in implementing a strong bicultural curriculum. Te reo Maori me ona tikanga thrives within the routines and rituals of our centre.
Manaakitanga, whakawhanaungatanga and kotahitanga are important values held by our kaiako, supporting a kaupapa Maori lens to learning and development of our tamariki.
These values sit alongside a curriculum in constant development with the collaborations of whanau tangata, local kaitiaki and kaiarahi, and kaiako contributions

EDUCA is an online learning platform that allows us to provide parents and whanau with learning experiences as they take place in the centre.
Parents are able to share their tamariki's page with any and all whanau to engage in.
Whanau will receive notices and important updates via this platform and are free to comment and share on their tamariki's learning, centre practices and policies and download valuable resources.
Please click on the picture to go to our EDUCA page, all whanau will need to be added to their tamariki's page to receive a login.
New Zealand Sign Language (NZSL) is one of New Zealand's four national languages.
Our kaiako are very excited to be taking part in some sign language courses coming up in the future! If you would like to join us please use the attachment to help you build effective communication with tamariki of all ages and abilities.
Did you know babies can use signs from as young as 9 months?

Our Early Learning Centre receives funding by the Ministry of Education. This is why each month you may receive a Frequent Absence Form or when you change your booking you have to sign a form.
All paperwork provided by the centre around your tamariki enrolment and hours is a confirmation between parent/whanau and the centre that the information we are providing to the Ministry is correct and what you have requested.
If you would like information on our funding please feel free to ask our centre and we will be happy to help you
