My name is Kayla Wells and I am born and bred in Gisborne. I have my bachelor in Primary teaching which I completed in Hamilton. I am a proud of boys.
I have been at Bizzy Bodz for a few years now. I love the children and staff here and enjoy coming to work each day. I am passionate about our children transitioning to school. This is so important for all tamariki as well as whanau. I look forward to working alongside the schools to make this as smooth as possible.

I moved from Hamilton back to Gisborne 2yrs ago to be closer to my family. I did my early education in Gisborne where I went to Waikirikiri primary, Upminster Intermediate and G.G.H.S. I am a fully registered teacher having been in ECE for over 35 years and have never wanted to do anything other than educating pre-schoolers.
I have an adult son who lives in Auckland and I have raised him on my own, an accomplishment I am extremely proud of. I love my home, my garden and walking my dog.Thank you for this opportunity to work alongside you all in our children grow and thrive at Bizzy Bodz.

Kia Ora everyone, my name is Darcy Spraggs. I have been teaching since finishing highschool in 2017, and have at the end of 2020 completed my bachelors degree in teaching (early childhood education) through Te Rito Maioha. I grew up in Paeroa, but my family moved to Gisborne when I was 12. I am passionate about working alongside children and exploring the world with them.

Kia ora e te whānau , my name is Crystal and I have been teaching in ECE for the past 9 years and am incredibly passionate about working alongside tamariki and helping them achieve their milestones and goals during my time with them. Although I have worked with all ages, my heart and passion is ignited when nurturing infants and toddlers 0-3.5years. A little more about me, I love the outdoors, traveling and spend most of my time with my whānau. This year my little kōtiro was born and her name is Aria. So if you see me or Aria around the centre please feel free to say hello!

I come from the beautiful East Coast spot of Tokomaru Bay. I have lived in Gisborne for a long long time. I am a mum to three and a nan to six. Whānau is everything to me.

Kia Ora my name is Fiona Davis and I am a Gisborne native. I enjoy watching tamariki learn and play and love to support whanau in caring for their children.
I have worked with diverse tamariki for 2 years now and i cannot wait to continue my journey with whanau here at Bizzy Bodz.

I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and have been working as an early childhood teacher for 9 years and I seriously love what I do. I have lived in Gisborne all my life, travelled around to many beautiful places, and have two beautiful tamariki.
I strive in making an environment that is loving, warm, and peaceful with lots of opportunities to inspire joy and curiosity. I strongly believe in fostering the principles of whanaungatanga, manaakitanga and ako within my teaching and ways of being. I believe in the importance of building trusting, respectful relationships between kaiako (teachers), whānau and our tamariki as we learn from one another in which will support the child’s learning opportunities and in building relationships.
I would love to hear from you to understand what is important to you, what aspirations you have for your child’s learning and I look forward to work alongside you to help make that happen.

With Ngāti Porou and Ngāti Tahu roots through my Mama, I am also lucky enough to whakapapa to Ngai Tamanuhiri through my Dad who has raised me since I was 3yrs old.
The oldest of three, I have been often referred to as the stubborn, know-it-all boss of the family but I would like to think instead that I’m passionate and vocal! Motherhood has driven me to cherish a well-balanced sense of life, daily rhythm and laughter; and hope to represent these values in everything I do.
I have two beautiful babies to keep me focused and the most supportive future husband, all of who reminds me daily to value my Māori culture and challenge the status quo always.
