Here at Bizzy Bodz Huntly we support our tamariki to have an understanding and appreciation of te reo me te tikanga Maori by weaving these throughout our curriculum and daily routines.
We love sharing and learning new waiata, pūrakau, words and games with our tamariki!
Here at Bizzy Bodz Huntly we are fortunate enough to have such a large outdoor area that our tamariki are able to explore and learn in!
We are privileged to have two big wonderful playgrounds for our older children, one small playground for our babies and a sandpit in both areas!
Next door is a local farm owned by the council, which has given us permission to use this to explore and play in with all of our tamariki!
Bizzy Bodz Huntly is working towards a Gold Healthy Heart Award within our centre!
We provide breakfast before 7.45am, Morning Tea, Lunch, Afternoon Tea and a Snack.
We are blessed to have a qualified Chef which helps to plan, source and implement our seasonal Menu.
Each season will consist of 3 months. Each month will have a 4 week menu which will rotate each Month.

EDUCA is an online learning platform that allows us to provide parents and whanau with learning experiences as they take place in the centre.
Parents are able to share their tamariki's page with any and all whanau to engage in.
Whanau will receive notices and important updates via this platform and are free to comment and share on their tamariki's learning, centre practices and policies and download valuable resources.
Please click on the picture to go to our EDUCA page, all whanau will need to be added to their tamariki's page to receive a login.
Bizzy Bodz Huntly incorporates the teaching of New Zealand Sign Language (NZSL) into daily activities.
We have had families in the past who require sign for communication. This has provided our team with a basic understanding of NZSL, which we continue to use in interactions with our tamariki. This provides an opportunity for us to build effective communication with tamariki of all ages and abilities.
Did you know babies can use signs from as young as 9 months?
Click the picture for a brochure of some signs you can learn at home!
Our Early Learning Centre receives funding by the Ministry of Education. This is why each month you may receive a Frequent Absence Form or when you change your booking you have to sign a form.
All paperwork provided by the centre around your tamariki enrolment and hours is a confirmation between parent/whanau and the centre that the information we are providing to the Ministry is correct and what you have requested.
If you would like information on our funding please feel free to ask our centre and we will be happy to help you
