Head Kaiako - ECE Bachelors
Gina
Kia Ora koutou, ko Gina ahau
I have been working in Early Childhood for over 20 years. I have 2 wonderful children who I absolutely adore and always look forward to family time where we spend time at the lakes and beach.
At the core of my teaching is an enthusiasm for exposing our tamariki to experiences and tools that allow them to test their understanding of information, ideas, and concepts, strengthen and encourage new capabilities to emerge and become “competent, confident learners” who are connected to the world around them.

Kathleen
Hi, I’m Kathleen and I’ve been teaching for 13 years, 11 of those at Huntly Kidz/Bizzy Bodz.
I’m a born and bred Huntly girl and love that I get to give back to my community every day. I love teaching because I get to be a part of each child’s learning journey, help them grow and follow their interests. I love all things vintage and traveling, especially to South East Asia.
I believe strong, caring relationships between teachers, children and whanau are the core of children’s well-being and growth.

I believe in forming relationships with tamariki and whānau that become strong and long lasting and consider learning to be at the child's pace. Being able to support tamariki and their whanau to build a foundation that will support their learning and development.
